Água Dura
CONTEXT
Água Dura is a feature-length documentary that follows the journey of Antonelyr Vasconcelos (Nely), a former open water marathon athlete, as she attempts to swim across the English Channel after being diagnosed with a chronic autoimmune inflammatory disease. The focus of the project is on Nely's reappropriation of her body and mind as she navigates the complexities of her health condition while preparing for a challenging feat, becoming the first person with this type of illness to accomplish such a crossing.
PERFORMANCE
I was a co-creator and producer of the project, contributing to the development of the concept and assisting in the executive production, ensuring that the vision of the documentary was translated in a sensitive and impactful way in the production of a teaser.
