NETFLIX
Luz
CONTEXT
Luz is the first Brazilian children's series on Netflix, following the journey of Luz, an orphan raised by a Kaingang family, alongside her firefly friend as she embarks on an adventure to uncover the truth about her origins. Produced by Floresta, a Sony Pictures Television production in Brazil, and based on an original idea by Guillermo Pendino, the series is directed by Thiago Teitelroit, with a script by André Rodrigues, and stars Marianna Santos in the role of Luz.
PERFORMANCE
I was responsible for the photo and video strategy for the first season of the series, directing the image capture on set and guiding the cast on the types of behind-the-scenes content that could be recorded with the production's provided mobile phone. This resulted in spontaneous content from the crew and cast. I created an exclusive announcement for the protagonist to inform her followers (over 4.5 million) about her new role. Additionally, I produced a 360º capture for her to showcase the main sets built in the studio for filming. This content was utilized both online and at the press launch event. I was also invited to produce video documentation of the series premiere, which took place at the Vila Lobos Park library.
