NETFLIX
One Piece
CONTEXT
The Netflix live-action series "One Piece" adapts the famous work of Eiichiro Oda, bringing Luffy and his crew's adventure into the real world with a mix of action, humor, and emotion. To promote the series' launch in Brazil, Netflix invited piseiro singer João Gomes to create a parody of the song "Meu Pedaço de Pecado," transforming it into "Pegada de Pirata," a track that celebrates the series with altered lyrics. The music video for this parody was part of the series' promotional efforts, establishing a connection between the "One Piece" universe and Brazilian musical culture. This creative collaboration helped engage fans and added a fun, local flavor to the series' marketing campaign.
PERFORMANCE
I was responsible for the location production and audio and video capture of the music video, coordinating logistics and ensuring that the production adhered to the project's creative guidelines. The filming was directed by Pedro Miguel Oliveira, with cinematography by Gabriel Chiarastelli. The final editing of the video was completed by Guizo, involving a collaborative effort to deliver the content for Netflix's promotional platforms. My role involved overseeing the production process, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and that the final product effectively reflected the spirit of both the parody and the "One Piece" series.
